Birding Boy
Found the 9th county record for Yellow-billed Cuckoo (on eBird, at least) in my campus parking lot this evening, sadly had no camera or bins, but got pretty close in my car to get a phone photo ? eBird Checklist - 10 Sep 2022 - Michigan Technological University campus - 6 species

jayD
I took these pics back in May of 2020. I know lesser goldfinches are not uncommon, but this one was within thirty miles of Canada. The only one I've ever seen
stitch58
Pretty much annual in NJ, first time I've seen a pair though.
Aidan B
The past two weeks or so have been amazing to me! I've gotten a Summer Tanager (self found), 3 Tennessee Warblers (two self found), 2 Chestnut-sided Warblers, a Blackpoll Warbler, a Blackpoll/Bay-breasted Warbler (self found), a possible Redstart, a Northern Waterthrush, a Prothonatary Warbler, a Calliope Hummingbird (self found), a Dusky Flycatcher (self found), a Semipalmated Sandpiper, and a Solitary Sandpiper (self found)! Been a great fall in the Valley!
IKLland
The rarities are really coming in fast now, a Dickcissel was reported this morning, but I’m going to be very busy for the next month or so. At least I have a pelagic to go on.

And nothing that would be a lifer for me has been reported in my county for the past month!

Really annoying that they show up the day after I was in that park.

I don't know what's worse, there being no rare birds to chase, or there being rare birds that you're not able to chase! I've been busy getting ready to bird the coast tomorrow and my pelagic on Sunday, and there's been a Black-throated Sparrow, a Gray Flycatcher, and a Brewer's Sparrow found this morning in sac. There's also been a Parula and Blackburnian Warbler recently I was unable to chase. Edited September 23, 2022 by Aidan B

Good luck, I think a trip a week and a half earlier would've been perfect for them in Northern California with the hurricane, but one might stick around.
