AlexHenry Posted January 3, 2020 Share Posted January 3, 2020 Definitely a merganser, pretty sure Red-breasted Merganser is correct, as Common Merganser would show a sharp line on the neck where the rusty ends and the gray begins, which would be visible in the last picture.
