White-eyed Vireo? - poor photo

Recommended Posts

Photo taken this past Sunday south of Houston Texas. Is that a white iris or eye ring? At the time I assumed it was a Yellow-rumped Warbler (female myrtle) as it had the white throat and yellow on the side. I see those quite often here. The bill shape and eye are having me hope for a vireo  - would be an new yard bird for me :). Thank you.

I'm not seeing anything to suggest vireo here. I see a Myrtle Yellow-rumped.

Just now, Trevor L. said:

It strikes me as a Yellow-rumped Warbler
