Sharp Shinned or Coopers Payette, Idaho

Seen Jan 9, 2020 Payette Idaho. At first I thought it was a Sharp Shinned but second guessing myself. Thank You

Hard to tell. If I had to guess I'd say Coopers because the tail looks rounded. But wait for the experts. Thank you.

I hope to one day have seen enough Sharpies and Cooper's that I can distinguish the relative thickness of their legs and toes.  But I can at least tell that they're blue!

Oh, wait; that's vireos, isn't it?  Oh, piddle...

Definitely Cooper's, with those graduated outer tail feathers, very large bulky overall, and "capped" small head with eyes close to the front.

Toe thickness is fairly difficult to tell in the field; proportions are much more useful.

Plus the even up and down body shape. Sharpies are top heavy.
