cccougar
I didn’t photograph many birds during a recent visit to Lisbon, Portugal. But I did come away with four types that I can use help identifying. Thank you!
PascalNJ
1- a redstart, a common redstart, I think 2- white wagtail 3- ruddy turnstone 4- male european blackbird I hope you enjoyed your visit to Lisbon, it’s such a beautiful place!
akandula
The first photo is a Black Redstart. Commons are buffier overall and are in Portugal only in the breeding season — a sighting at this time of the year would be quite remarkable. I agree with the rest, although more common names for the last bird are Common or Eurasian Blackbird.
