Is it still there?  It would be a lifer but I've been too busy to go see it.

Looks like Sunday was last reported day.  Lots of Goldeneyes reported yesterday.  Saturday it appeared out of nowhere while 3 other birders were watching a group of COGE.  It apparently has some ninja skills.

Where did you see the flycatcher?

Are you in western Washington and are you familiar with the Skagit Valley?

Vermillion

Actually in Saskatchewan. But I looked in my bird app and it says southeast California to central Texas into Mexico and wintering in parts of Florida. I’ve only passed through Washington via flights. So I’ll look up Skagit Valley but regardless a Vermilion flycatcher shouldn’t be anywhere near there is right.

This is the local celebrity!  This has been hanging out here all fall.  He's been finding different things to eat so we hope he's okay

Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, Augusta, GA, Nov 20th.  Canvasback, Sora, Palm Warbler.  If it wasn't for the fence surrounding a canal, I might have stepped on the Sora before I saw it.
