Dan P
Here is one I took at The Meadows park at Silverlake Reservoir on 9-27-2021. It wasn't a lifer for me as I had seen a female/immature in Sepulveda Basin in 2020.

dragon49
Three Lifers today! American Redstart - I hate lifers without photo proof, so I spent a long time getting something Merlin recognized. I extracted an image from a video, performed a quick photoshop fix, and then cropped it: I'll embed both awful, however species recognizable photos: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/481561671 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/481561651 Yellow-throated Warbler. More, bad photos extracted from a video. I can't even get an app to recognize them, but I felt it borderline acceptable to upload them the Ebird. Anyway, I'm 100% confident of the ID, as a fellow birder with a much better camera than I got a perfect photo, and both Merlin and iBird Photo Sleuth Identified the species. I thought about embedding (outside of Ebird of course, as it's not my photo) that picture, but I didn't ask permission to use it: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/481561751 https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/481561761 Finally, a good picture - Short-tailed Hawk: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/481561141 Edited September 5, 2022 by dragon49
Aidan B
I got a Prothonatary Warbler yesterday! I was down in Fresno but didn't have any birding stuff with me. Ended up buying a pair of 25 dollar binoculars from target so I could go see it. Digibining didn't go so well through them. This is the best photo I got.
