Kevin
We went skiing in New Mexico this week, and while it was not a birding trip, I got lifers: Juniper Titmouse, Black-capped Chickadee, and Scaled Quail this week! But no photos, do to I was on a ski lift for the first two, and going 75 MPH for the last. Also....

Kevin
Common Merganser! Maybe not a great bird to some of you, but they are pretty hard to find in my part of the world.

I don’t se them often here at all, they’re pretty rare in my county and on the rest of the SoCal coast.

IKLland
The Crissal Thrashers may need to come off the list, they were heard only with no recordings, and the reviewer contacted the trip leader. 5

dragon49
Red-cocaded Woodpecker. Unfortunately, this was just beyond our county line, so I don't move up the county rankings. Some birders heard these later in the county, but I'm not certain I did: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/536586101

dragon49
I've been chasing Semipalmated Plovers for at least a month now (I picked up the intensity the last couple of weeks) and I finally got the lifer! It was a matter of finding the right beach to go to at low tide: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/537127071
