Quiscalus quiscula
Finally defeated my nemesis Brown Thrasher! There were three of them and I got decent looks, but too deep in the brush for a photo.

It would have been my favorite Tanager shot except it looks weird full sized...Makes a great profile picture though because you can't notice the flaws when it's that small!

Quiscalus quiscula
Bank Swallows! Pretty uncommon in the county. They flew super fast, barely had enough time to ID them.

IKLland
The Cape May Warbler from yesterday puts my life list at 370. I’m really hoping I can hit 400 by the end of the year.

Spyonabird
We visited the gulf coast of Florida last weekend and had a great time. Birding was not the main objective but we were able to sneak away once or twice. I had no binoculars and no camera. In addition to the normal "florida birds", we were pleased to see Eastern Meadowlarks, Common Ground Doves and even a Swallow-Tail Kite. The highlights were 2 lifers - Florida Scrub Jay and Crested Caracara. It made my day 😀
IKLland
Yesterday: Common Poorwill, heard only, too distant for a recording. Great views of 5 Lesser Nighthawks, one of my biggest needed lifers!

Quiscalus quiscula
Eastern Meadowlark yesterday. Super far away and only identifiable through scope though. Hopefully I'll get better looks at them sometime and hear their song.
