lonesome55dove
@The Bird NutsI just found this challenge so for a photo to qualify for wild turkey it has to be taken after Nov 28th and to date, correct? I have 3 different flocks that visit my yard almost everyday...I quit taking pictures of them on Nov 26th, lol! I'll probably see them in the next day or so but if this one has drug on too long and a new bird is posted themn I'll try to play along. BTW, Great challenge! ?

Yes, the photo has to be taken after the challenge is issued. If you can get a photo of a turkey before @sbruenjes chooses another challenge, I say it counts! sbruenjes
If it makes it easier, lets add pheasants, grouse, or prairie-chicken to the challenge? I myself have never gotten a picture of any of those....
lonesome55dove
@sbruenjesSo is wild turkey still acceptable? Or just pheasants, grouse, or prairie-chicken? Thanks! ?

lonesome55dove
Well, it is not the best picture of a Wild Turkey but it is a Wild Turkey. Usually, my yard is full of them but we had snow here last night so they are reluctant to come out of the timber today. Taken 12-13-2020. ? lonesome55dove
The new challenge is an Orange-variant or Yellow-variant male House Finch NOT your typical reddish House Finch. On your marks, get set, GO! Good Luck! ? Examples: Orange Yellow XXX NOT RED XXX

It’ll be more of a challenge in the northern areas because there are not as many herons up there in the winter.
