Mark F Posted April 6, 2020 Share Posted April 6, 2020 I'm not a natural at identifying birds, and shore birds are my worst. I photographed these birds rummaging together yesterday by San Francisco Bay. Pretty sure the bigger one is a Whimbrel, but no idea about the smaller ones behind the Whimbrel and as a pair in the other photo.
