Mark F
This bird (seen yesterday by San Francisco Bay) was in close company with a large number of Western Sandpipers you helped me identify. But this bird does not have the jet black legs of those Western Sandpipers. It's legs are yellow-ish, if not yellow, and I'm wondering if it could be a Least Sandpiper. Thanks!
cvanbosk
Least is correct. The yellow legs and, for me, the short bill are good marks. Edited April 9, 2020 by cvanbosk
