Wren ID

Recommended Posts

A fair few wren species, sure, but it's got an obvious and bright white supercilium, ruling almost all other species of wren out from your neck of CA. You're left with Marsh and Bewick's, and this wee beastie's tail is way too short for the latter/ Then there's the white streaking limited to the upper back, which, on a wren, rules out everything in the ABA Area that is not in Cistothorus.
