AlexHenry
Sorry another flycatcher... not great looks/photos. Probably Hammond’s? Alameda County CA today
Katelyn Davis
It's hard to really see the eye ring but I would maybe throw Pacific Slope Flycatcher out there? The eye ring looks pretty teardrop shaped to mean but I wouldn't trust that.
AlexHenry
Not to bump my own post, but... this bird seemed kind of grayish overall like a Hammond’s/Dusky with a bit of yellowish wash, rather than brownish green like Pacific slope. The habitat was open gray pine forest with scattered scrubby live oak, juniper bushes, chamise and sagebrush, and some willows in the bottom of the canyon. It appeared to have an at least partially pale lower mandible. It is tough to see primary length in the photos unfortunately, but any thought? It’s more likely Hammond‘s but I’m wondering about Dusky.
Connor Cochrane
It looks a lot more like Hammonds than duskys that I’ve seen.
Phalarope713
I’d call this a Hammond’s.
