Telling shorebirds apart, South Central PA today

I am under the belief that most if not all of these fall under the Yellowlegs category, but I am not sure whether they are greater or lesser, or if one may not even be one. I am very bad with IDing them, and any helpful hints about how you can tell are appreciated.

1, 2, 4, and 5 are Lesser Yellowlegs, while 3 and 6 are Solitary Sandpipers.

You can see how the Solataries have greener legs, spotted (not mottled) backs, and prominent eyerings.

Greater Yellowlegs would have thicker, longer, more upturned bills than either Solataries or Lesser Yellowlegs.

No, Solitaries don't have striped back feathers.
